As you say, unless the specs are so significantly different from the Mk3 and the 5Dmk2, I will no longer be buying a 1DS series but will wait for the latest incarnation of the 5D. Many pros are enjoying the potential of shooting movies, mini movies and simply high quality moving stills on the camera, add to that the low light capabilities and the HUGE difference in price, even worse here in the UK, and you can understand why the flagship model is sinking slowly :-(

I have always bought the 1DS series right through to the Mk3.
